Mandate
The Provincial Outreach Program, upon request from school districts, provides:
(1) educational consultation
(2) programming and support for students who are Deaf and hard
of hearing throughout British Columbia.
This program, hosted by the Burnaby School District, is funded directly by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. The Program services school-aged Deaf and hard of hearing students, whose preferred mode of communication is American Sign Language (ASL), signed supported speech (SSS) and/or spoken communication.
