Judy Poato - Secretary
I have been privileged to work with the Provincial Outreach team for the past 4 1/2 years located at the BC Provincial School for the Deaf and South Slope Elementary School. The staff is awesome, professional and always keeps me smiling. I enjoy designing the newsletter as well as the Networking Journal (BCSD) that gets sent out to you in the Province and other places in North America.
My role here at work is to assist with the Optimist Communication Contest, the Provincial Library for TDHH, Provincial Educational Review Committee (PERCD) and the TDHH Directory. I sent out flyers to the TDHH in the province upon request of CAEDHH and other school districts. I also work half time at the BC Provincial School for the Deaf assisting the vice-principal.
On a personal note, I love to sew, design costumes and clothes, work with color and love computer programs. Sometimes I get to incorporate that into my work here at the office-it doesn’t get any better than that!
