    Hi there,

I'm on a list serve for SLPs who work at schools for the deaf. A colleague from the list recently mentioned this reference for helping Deaf/HH students transition to post secondary. The resource is US based but has very valuable information

I haven't seen a resource like this in BC. If there isn't one yet, perhaps a guide like this is being developed ?

A local resource in BC is the Youth Transition Program under Provincial Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students. I believe they have a mandate to help facilitate post secondary transitions in BC. http://www.mcf.gov.bc.ca/psdhh/transition.htm

Also, a colleague in Surrey works locally with this BC agency to help with funding / transition to post secondary

Hope you enjoy the summer break -
