MANDATE

The Provincial Resource Centre (PRC), a province-wide resource, is located at the office of the Provincial Outreach Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students located with the Provincial School for the Deaf at South Slope Elementary in Burnaby. It is a preview library of resource materials for deaf, hard of hearing and speech programs. Rather than checking out the materials for an extended period of use, teachers are expected to preview the materials and determine whether or not to purchase them for their own school district. For this reason, materials are available for loan on a two-week basis only.

HOW TO USE THIS CATALOGUE

The main part of this catalogue is divided into three sections.

Titles: This section lists the title, call number, author(s), series, publisher, copyright date, subjects to which the item relates, and decriptive notes.

Materials can be order by emailing Judy Poato (judy.poato@sd41.bc.ca) or by printing the Material Requisition Form: it is intended to be printed and completed for each set of requisitions. At the bottom of the form is a space to note materials you would like to see in the PRC We want to keep the PRC current and vital as the central resource library for those in our field. Suggestions are welcome.
